Our Process

Introduction Call

Our office manager will reach out to you personally within 24 hours of your request to run you through our process and to book you in with an onsite inspection with our director.

On-Site Inspection

In order to provide you with a quote for your project, we first need to organise a site inspection so we can get a feel for the property and understand the vision you have worked with your architect on creating. For all our site visits, our Managing Director will come out to do an initial meet and greet. We find that it's most beneficial to have both/all decision makers present for the site visit so that we can get an overall feel for what your objectives are.

Design & Construction

Cutting Landscapes will work with your architect to assist with finalising the final components on your design. Once the design is 100% completed, we move to the building permit stage where Cutting Landscapes will manage all documentation associated with building permits, engineering, working drawings and council approval. When we receive this documentation, the works will commence with one of our experienced construction teams who are supervised and led by our project manager and our director.

Both our client and the landscape architect will receive weekly updates and progress photos so that they can keep updated as to how the project is progressing.

Completion and Follow-Up

Upon completion of your project, our Managing Director will talk you through each of the aspects of the landscaping that we’ve performed and ensure that everything has met or exceeded your expectations. We will also provide some useful insights on the suggested steps to maintain your outdoor space from here on in as the maintenance of your newly landscaped project is crucial for the performance of your garden.

Your maintenance schedule begins as soon as construction of your garden is complete, and handover has occurred. Cutting Landscapes can offer a 12-week maintenance plan for all of our clients, or should you wish, we can also introduce you to some of our referral partners that we work with in this space for ongoing maintenance.
